Societies: Creative and Active

At the start of the year our Societies Fair has a University Freshers’ feel: students set up and recruit for any society they want to be involved with, from Warhammer and Chess, to Marketing and Theological Debate, from Orchestra and Folk Band and Chapel Chunes, to Disney Classics, Books and Bakes and Engineering: the world is your oyster!

Sport is strong in the Sixth Form with many students playing at regional and county level in a wide variety of sports, from Rugby to Sailing and from Showjumping to Cheerleading , we nurture our champion teams of footballers, cricketers and rowers too.

Sport is a vibrant part of Sixth Form life, with students representing the school in Under-18 Netball and Football, alongside a thriving Rowing programme that competes throughout both the Head and Regatta seasons.  You can be a sports role model too, mentoring Lower School enrichment and organising their own sporting activities.

If you are looking to develop your passion further can also achieve the nationally recognised Sports Leaders Level 2 qualification, gaining valuable leadership skills that extend far beyond the playing field.

Sport is fun here as well as competitive, with a climbing wall, badminton, table tennis and a dance studio.
