Will everyone already know each other? 

Not at all. Many students join us from other schools each year, about a third of our intake, and everyone is making new friendships at the start of Year 12. 

What if I don’t know anyone? 

Many students arrive on their own and quickly become part of our welcoming community through tutor groups, lessons, enrichment and social spaces. 

Can I visit before I apply? 

Absolutely. We’d encourage you to come along to our Open Evening, taster mornings or arrange an individual visit. 

Will I receive extra support? 

Yes. Our tutors, pastoral team and teachers work together to make sure every student settles in successfully. We start the year with an induction just for Year 12 so you can learn your way around.
